A Wedding and a Baptism

**Sigh** Wow.

What. A. Week.

So I don`t have the photos from the wedding party and baptism on this blog entry, because Hermana Hales has all the photos, but they are in the process!! No se preocupen. (;

This week honestly was just kind of nuts. Can`t say we did a TON of teaching, because we were kind of running around, trying to getting a wedding planned, a party decorated, and a baptism brought to pass. It was NUTS. But really great. (:

Eliana Peña. This gal. I love her  to DEATH. She is SO excited to start preparing to go to the temple with her husband, Gastón (ya es miembro), and her adorable little boy, Ciro. Or, what we call him: Cirocito. (: I`m kinda sorta in love with that kid. He makes me miss my nieces and nephews WAY too much.

Dang, I feel like there should be a TON to say, but...I don`t have a lot of words haha. Hermana Hales and I legitimately NEVER thought we`d be some of those missionaries who would have a wedding on Friday afternoon, wedding party on Saturday afternoon, and a baptism RIGHT after. It was beautiful, however. Eliana and Gastòn just looked SO happy, and Eliana was stoked to change from her wedding dress to her baptism dress. Eliana was baptized, and we thought it was all good, but we realized that the member hadn`t said her full name. "Eliana, espere!!"..."Tenemos que bautizarla de nuevo..." Her reaction: Alright!! She happy walked back down in to the water and did it all over again. (: Which is a miracle, honestly...

Why? Just wait until you see the pictures of the WATER. San Luìs just has...gross...water. Like awful. Looked like a swamp. We did all we could to make it less brownish-green. THEN, to make it all WAY better...The bombilla stopped wokring about halfway through when we were trying to empty out the font. Sooo what`s our backup plan, after having trying fixing it?...

BUCKETS.

Yup. We bucketed out a TON of NASTY water, and we got WET. But it was fun. (: Why? Because come to find out, my lovely Hermana Hales and her family happen to be big fans of...**Drumroll pleaseee...**

"Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?"!!!

So we noticed that the bombilla wasn`t working, and Hermana Hales looks over at me from the other side of the font and gets a smirk on her face, "Dang, hermana. We in a tight spot!"

Hahaha sooo yeah we cleaned out that nasty font, bucketing out water, while singing, "Oh sister let`s go down, let`s go down, come on down. Oh sister let`s go down, down in the the river to prayyyyy..." (: Loved it. Then Hales came in with the her solid alto part, and we KILLLEDDD that song. (: In a good way, of course!

WHEW. I`m tired. And sore. Definitely got some good workouts. And maybe a little (lot) bit wet. But it was fun. (: Every time Hermana Hales and I get in a "tight spot", she always follows up with, "Whelp...Comp unity!! Bonding timmme..."

Haha so yes. Our other goal for this transfer is to baptize on my birthday, AKA last Saturday of the transfer. (; May 17th. BRING IT. We`re stoked.

Okay, so the 3 random photos arrreee...ONE: First top ramen in over a year. I kind of died. TWO: The biggest pear of my life. Almost as big as my head. We definitely split that thing. THREE: HA. Uhhh this is what we call a cheap missionary`s postre after lunch. We had a sweet tooth, and Hermana Hales decided to make a mug cake or something in the microwave. She gets to mixin` and stirrin`, and the next thing I hear from her, "Uhhh...Uh-oh."...We had VERY little flour. So she goes to plan B...Breaking up saltine crackers hahaha. SCORE. It was way tasty, not even joking. (:

Alrighty, that`s all for now folks! We`ve been on one more nutsy rollercoaster week, but it was good. Down parts, good chats, fun stories, a marriage, party, baptism, fun memories, disappointments, and Sunday night massages. (; Hasta la semana que viene! Chau!
